Huge Frog:
Whilst working for the same ceramicist in Germany, I was again instructed to create a very innovative piece of work. I took the structure of a an existing building and created a large Frog form, over and around it.This was a very complicated project logistically as there were several people with various skills involved, that all came together. The initial test, was that the shape of the Frog that had to be created around the building that was square in shape. My role was to create the form with wire mesh that was to be sprayed with concrete/cement inside and out, as well as hosting all of the electrics.
Moreover, a garden path and stonework specialist created the form of the large stones at the front, that once completed, were then covered by the ceramicists own designs and work that completed the visual aspect of the project.The purpose of this piece was to create an outside bar that could be used for functional purposes during exhibitions and creative workshops.
